Clients are all unique. If you think they aren't, you probably aren't helping their marketing or branding to stand out above others'. Successfully designing for a client can be difficult, so keep these tips in mind!
Recognize who your client is!
Understanding who your client is, their personality, what they want to accomplish with their brand, and how they operate are all good starts.
Who are they competing with?
As much as you want to make a unique identity for your client's brand, you first have to understand what kind of competition this client is up against. Try finding the strengths and weaknesses of the competitors and use that to make your client shine!
Typography and Color
The visual representation of the client may be the first experience consumers have of the business. Picking a color scheme that can identify special characteristics of the brand while also having complimentary typography whose historic and economical usage matches that of the client's brand.
These are a few things to keep in mind as you help solidify your client's brand, but there is much more which can be utilized to generate the most success for yourself and your client! Check out this blog by Pranjalee Parihar which discusses a more detailed side of different categories, including what I discussed here!
